Sunday Morning worship provides the opportunity and atmosphere for anyone and everyone, visitors and members, to come together and worship God through songs of praise, Biblical readings, and fellowship with each other. The sermon leans towards the Christian life and struggles we may face on a daily basis. Except for the 2nd Sunday of the month, children kindergarten-5th grade will be dismissed from regular worship service to attend Children's Church. The children will then return to their parents at the end of regular service.
On the 2nd Sunday of every month, during morning worship, children are invited up front for Small Talk: a time set aside just for them, a mini message and prayer. Warning: adults in congregation usually learn as much as, if not more than the children ; ). On this Sunday, we also host a carry-in fellowship dinner that follows morning worship.
Sunday evenings, worship is similar to that of morning worship, in that everyone is invited to come together and worship God through songs of praise, Biblical readings, and fellowship with each other. The worship is led by the Praise Band with a mix of traditional and contemporary worship music. The sermon is more of a Bible study and lesson, as it delves deeper into the context of the passages.
Wednesday evenings, expect to be blessed with sharing prayer concerns of church family and community. A Bible study follows that is lead by our Pastor. This is a very casual setting, with congregation participation welcomed!
At worship services, the Adult Sanctuary Choir members regularly fill the choir loft, encouraging congregational singing as well as providing special music. Other special music is provided by our Praise Band and the Children's Music and Bell Choir. Our Youth also fill the stage with special drama/music presentations. We are blessed with many talented church family who generously share in song or instrumentation!
