I Love My Church
What a blessing to have the freedom to worship, pray and serve God in Clinton, MO and beyond! Beginning Feb 21, our church will set out on a Gospel Project - a three-year journey of Sunday School lessons on the same theme. This will include children's classes, youth and adult classes – so families will have the ability to discuss facts and questions about their Sunday School lesson later in the week.
Sunday School begins at 9:30 each Sunday morning, with the exception of the choir class which starts at 9:10 and concludes at 9:50 to allow practice time. Non-choir members are welcome, too.
Brother Joey spoke from John 3:1-21 telling us that God knows each and everyone of our stories and our thoughts. God is not intimidated; He can use each of our personalities. It starts with a personal relationship w/Christ Jesus. “Born again” has been tainted in recent years – God's more aware of our predicament and our need for Him. Born again means a new perspective on life. Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.”
There is a spiritual rebirth of the mind. God wants to dwell freely in you! It's about you becoming the person He wants you to be, living for Him – saved to serve! Believe in Jesus as Savior and give Him your life! John 3:21 -”But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God.”
Our day concluded with our annual “I Love My Church” chicken potluck dinner, singing and testimonies; we are so blessed!
