What a wonderful day to be in the House of the Lord.  It was a glorious Sunday worship here at Northeast. His name is Master, Savior, Lion of Judah, King of the Ages, Holy Lord of Glory, His name is Life.  In that name there is life and it’s life everlasting.

Our message this week was from Luke 22:1-13. Jesus had just left the Temple where He had been teaching.  He is with the disciples and is setting up the Passover meal. We also see the priests and Judas.  Verse 5 tells us the Pharisees are seeking a way to put Him to death, instead of preparing for the Passover meal themselves.  Meanwhile, we see Judas, who...

What a wonderful day to be in the House of the Lord.  It was a glorious Sunday worship here at Northeast. I’m undone by the mercy of Jesus, I’m undone by the goodness of the Lord.  I’m restored and made right, He got ahold of my life.  I’ve got Jesus, how could I want more. Those beautiful words are so true!

Our message this week was a continuation of Luke.  We see Jesus in the Temple teaching.  Those in authority, the Pharisees, question who Jesus thinks He can do this; who gives Him the authority?  He replies with a question for them:  Was John’s baptism from Heaven or man? The officials feel they were in a corner.  If they said, “Heaven,” then Jesus would say, “Then why didn’t you believe him?” If they say, “From man,” they feared the people would kill them.  To be safe, t...

What a wonderful day to be in the House of the Lord.  It was a glorious Sunday worship here at Northeast. There is no one like our God; He’s the light in the darkness, He’s the hope to the hopeless, and the peace to the restless.  Is He the God of THIS city?  Our children’s choir opened up worship with song, giving us a glimpse of their Children’s Musical for May.

Our message this week was a continuation of Luke 19.  This week we looked at verses 28 through 44.  Messiah the King:  Christ’s Triumphal Entry.  Our lesson looks at Jesus, as He enters Jerusalem.  He tells His disciples to go find a donkey colt, and not just any colt, but a very specific one:  one that was unridden and tied up somewhere.  They were told what to say if anyone questions them.  This would be the same...

What a wonderful day to be in the House of the Lord.  It was a glorious Sunday worship here at Northeast. We believe in God the Father, we believe in Jesus Christ, we believe in the Holy Spirit, and He's given us new life.  We believe in the crucifixion, we believe that He conquered death.  We believe in the resurrection and He's comin' back again, we believe.

Our message was from The Parable of Stewardship, from Luke 19:11-27.  Pastor Joey’s lesson today was a continuation from last week’s lesson focusing on Zacchaeus’ conversion.  Jesus has just spoken to Zacchaeus, telling him to come down from the tree and all that follows.  The disciples were talking with Him.  He said the Kingdom of God was coming soon, but they were thinking He meant it was coming immediately.  J...
