A line from the choir’s opening song reminds us of one of God’s promises:  You might as well get thee behind me Satan, you cannot prevail, because Jesus never fails.  What a beautiful thought and wonderful reminder of His blessings for us.

We celebrated with VBS this week:  Submerged in Jesus.

We had great music this morning.  Our call to worship was “Majesty, worship His Majesty.”  What a joy it is to worship His Majesty, King Jesus.

Bro. Joey led us in a message from John 15:7.  He spoke on Remaining in the Vine.  He opened with John 14:26, where Jesus gives us another promise, the promise of the Holy Spirit.  Some texts read “Counselor” or “Advocate.”  I personally like the translations that say, “I will send you a Helper, the Holy Spirit.”  John 15:7 calls us to remain in t...
