We rejoice in the camaraderie of our fellowship in Sunday School, the worship service, and the

lingering to talk afterward – it's sweet to share our lives because of Jesus! “He Keeps Me Singing”

is how we expressed it this week. We sang of His Amazing Grace and then we Stood on His

Promises and closed With a Closer Walk With Him!


Brother Joey's sermon, “The Gospel Defined” from I Cor. 15:1­-11 proclaimed the Supreme Good

News! Blessed are the feet of those who bring good news. We are called to bring the good news;

to go to the highways and byways and compel people to come to Jesus. Be willing to spread out

the seed of the good news, everywhere! Christians have a new nature, a new heart, a transplanted

heart that seeks God! You'll never be what you are supposed to be unless you reproduce...

Most Christians know the life of Joseph.  He was born to Israel (Jacob) in his older years, and was the favorite son of the wife whom Jacob loved, Rebecca.  He had twelve other brothers who despised their father’s love for Joseph and sought to do something about it.


We see the Lord’s hand on Joseph’s life as he was sold into slavery, taken to a foreign land, accused wrongly of a crime and placed in prison. He was eventually elevated to the point of being second under command of Egypt.  The Lord orchestrated a famine to drive Joseph’s family to come to Egypt to get food.  Joseph had the opportunity to retaliate, and in the world’s eyes he would have been in the right to do so.  But the Lord was so strong in Joseph, he offered his brothers forgiveness.  He even made a way for them,...
